Review
Redemption arc.

As I wrote on the main Burger Time page (the joint, not the burger), I haven't been to this establishment in six years. After eating this burger, I'm regretting that policy.

A small note on presentation before we get to the meat of this review (if you'll pardon the pun): this was among the most photogenic burgers I've ever been served. And I don't say that lightly. It was one of those impossibly rare cases where the fancy airbrushed picture on the menu actually did not do justice to the real thing. Strange but very welcome.

But that was only the start. The burger did not just look pretty, the individual ingredients were just as perfect. The buns were made of some of the softest bread I've ever touched. The meat was beautifully tender and grilled to perfect mid-rare, just as ordered. The onions were delicious and not at all overpowering. And the tomato and lettuce were fresh and texturally firm.

So if everything is so good, why is the rating not higher? Well, for me it all comes down to barbecue sauce. Granted, the sauce itself was perfectly fine and was even used in tasteful amounts (which is sadly not something I encounter often). But it's just such a... safe choice. It's honestly the only thing holding this burger back.

Even so, this is still highly recommended.
