In most joints, Cherry Cheese would easily be their most unique menu item. But Burger Burger are not most joints. And this is their best burger.
As soon as I read the specs on this, I immediately knew two things: that I had to have it and that it would either be a masterpiece or a complete train wreck; no in between. Based on the score you can probably guess it's not the latter.
It's one of the most unique flavor profiles you can find in the burger world (or at least in the burger world in my neck of the woods). It's also shockingly well balanced: the saltiness of the blue cheese and the prosciutto are countered remarkably well by not one but two types of fruit marmalade. And yet, somehow, the patty still manages to take center stage.
Anyone (well... most) can pull off a decent classic burger with cheddar, a sauce, and some veggies. But it takes someone who knows what they're doing to make a burger like this, where every ingredient has a potential to draw so much attention to itself, and make it taste cohesive.
Consider my hat to Burger Burger tipped.
