This is one of the better interpretation of the numerous classic fried chicken sandwiches.
Some burger joints - generally the mediocre ones - tend to fall into the trap of thinking chicken doesn't need a distinct sauce and they just reuse the same one they use for their burgers. Flying Smoker does not. Or... they kind of do (one of them - royal sauce) but they pair it with the light mayo sauce which is much more appropriate for this use case. On top of that, the chicken was not dry and the rest of the ingredients were top notch.
but here's the main problem and the reason for the (what I would consider to be low for this establishment) score: the slice of chicken was hilariously thin. All the technical excellence in execution can not save it from this fact. You can't engineer this away.
A shame, really. Would've been a 4 otherwise.
