Approved again.

This is the second iteration of Maister Burger (that I know of). The changes are by no means massive - tweaked sauce, added egg - but overall welcome. I officially proclaim this burger improved.

At this point this burger only has one major flaw - the sauce.

First, the amount needs to be brought way the fuck down. The burger I ordered was damn near drowning in it. Thankfully it's at least not bad.

Second, "not bad" is as far as my praise for this sauce goes. See, when I read "ketchup and mayo sauce" on a spec sheet I expect a sauce that's primarily based on those two ingredients but includes some other minor condiments or seasoning as well - you know, to round out the flavor. This does not seem to be the case here. From what I could taste the sauce seems to literally just be mayo and ketchup mixed together. That's certainly honest. But it's not good enough. Especially since the other ingredients are top notch. The burger still scores high but with this sauce the score is as high as it's ever going to go.

Having said all that, please understand this in context - it's a relatively minor issue. This burger is still well worth your time and money.

Oh, and they improved the fries.
