Food Corner used to be one of those rare establishments that understood restraint. Every one of their older burgers from back in the day was made with harmonious ingredients. Not a single one of them was ever unbalanced. Even on an individual basis I never received any burgers from them that were off kilter (having too much sauce, for example).

So I can't fathom what in the everliving fuck possessed them to desecrate this burger with synthetic truffle oil.

Now, yes, I'm aware there are people out there who like this type of aggressive(ly) artificial pseudo-truffle taste (uncultured swines, the lot of you!). I just didn't imagine Food Corner would ever cater to them.

And this isn't the kind of thing that just happens on accident. It's a deliberate design decision. It makes me seriously question the regard I have for the whole establishment.
