Substantially improved from the burger I tried six years ago. Almost like a new species. Very nice indeed.
My only problem in terms of specs is the red bell pepper. It seems to me like the only reason it's there is for, frankly, unneeded diversity (I swear to you that this is not some sort of thinly veiled political statement, I'm strictly talking about food here). The pepper is a DEI hire (sorry, I couldn't resist).
Seriously though, this is a minor nitpick and not the reason - considering my earlier praise - for the low score.
The reason for the low score is the egg. Sadly, it was left on the stove for so long that the yolk was fully set. It's truly a tragedy of... well, easily imaginable proportions.
I'll probably order this burger again in the future to determine if this was a fluke or a systemic issue. It's sad though because I think the score could have been half a point to a full point higher given proper egg doneness. But as I already stated in other reviews, I can only grade what I'm actually served.
But there's a very important caveat. Not five minutes away on foot you can find at least three better joints. Namely, Pop's Place, Hood Burger, and Lars & Sven (edit: not anymore). Furthermore, Burger Time doesn't seem to grasp the concept of "medium rare".
