My fondness for Hood burger is no secret. I've gushed about them many a time and complimented them in one of the articles in the Editorial section. A bit of a backhanded compliment, given the rest of the article, but still.

What some people may not know, however, is that the first burger I ever tried in my life was at this very joint. Well, technically I started with (now sadly discontinued) Chicken Burger, which - as the name implies - is actually a sandwich.

But the next one was Le Brie, one of my favorites to this day. So you can stop panicking.

Hood showed me what was possible. And for that, I will be forever grateful.
